History

Winatic was initially incorporated in 1963, in Binghamton, NY.  Initially, the company manufactured printer coils primarily for International Business Machines (IBM) until this customer exited that market.

In 1982, Electrotechnik Industries, Inc. (ETI) purchased the Winatic Corp. from High Voltage Engineering, Inc. where it remains a subsidiary.  In the year 2000, Winatic’s manufacturing was moved to Costa Rica.

Medical Magnetics Capabilities

Winatic designs and manufactures magnetic components to precision tolerances required by the medical electronics industry.  Some of their common products include inductors, chokes, coils, air wound coils, and transformers.
 
Typical product sizes and power handling are up to three (3) inches cubed with 50/60 Hz power capability to 250 VA.
